Glossary
Black Sat. A black sat is the last sat in a block.
Padding. Positioning other sats in front of an inscribed sat, to protect the inscribed sat from an accidental send. Classified Stage 1 padded the inscribed sat with all twelve rare sats before the protective layer, giving the padding a rarity value as well as utility.
Inscription. Adding a piece of text, an image, a GIF, etc to a sat.
Parent-child relation. Associating one sat with another, and storing the association on the bitcoin blockchain through inscription, where it will remain immutable.
Ghostmarking. Ghostmarking. Associating one sat with another, and storing the association on the bitcoin blockchain as transaction data, where it will remain immutable. Ghostmarking differs from inscription in storing the association but leaving the rare sat itself uninscribed.
